Get the JCrew Look

Forever 21 might be known for its cheap but trendy clothing, but some of their recent jewelry are look a likes and less expensive versions of JCrew’s.  You probably can tell the difference between the brands because of the picture quality, but they look so similar, why pay for higher price tag?  The one from JCrew is on sale for $70 while Forever 21′s version retails for $9.  This one is a no brainer.  And if you don’t like Forever 21′s bow, just spend $5 at Micheals for a silk ribbon instead.

The next item is JCrew’s bubble jewelry.  These two necklaces, although not exact look a likes, achieve the same look for a lot less.  The one on the left retails for about $150 while the one on the right sells for $15.  For the amount of money you save, you could buy a new dress to go with your look a like purchase!

The Little Black Shoe

I think every girl needs a black shoe.  It goes with almost every outfit and is a staple for going out on the town.  I recommend a closed toe shoe so it would last the whole year, not just summer.  I am currently in LOVE with Jessica Simpson shoes.  If you are not a fan, stop here, but if you are I have a classic shoe that you should consider adding to your wardrobe.

Under $100 and it is worth every penny

This shoe is a perfect evening shoe and even to work if you are young and can tolerate pain.  But for evening purposes, this shoe adds great heat and doesn’t give off that platform stripper look, no offense ladies.  These shoes are great for a hot date, a wedding or a girls night out.  Look at it this way, even though this shoe is not the famed Louboutin, as seen below, for its price and shape, the Jessica Simpson version acts as a close cousin!

Tube or Not to be

Did you get the title? Well this tube top is a new discovery of mine.  I hate layering, with a passion.  Those low plunging necklines with bulky tank tops just bothered me every time I wore them.  So I recently purchased one of these and love it.  I wear it underneath those low necklines and I don’t have to fidget with it at all.

They are not for everyone, especially for girls with larger chests.  Mine was only $15 at a local boutique.  They are also available at American Apparel for $11.  This accessory seems a little unusual but is a great solution for bulky layering.

This model could have used the black or nude one below.

Spanx Me

Oprah loves this product line and swears by it.  Hollywood stars use it as a slim down secret.  I am a big fan of Spanx and the body miracles they work.  A new addition to the Spanx line has been their tights.  Tights are the new leggings, in my fashionista opinion.  You can wear them with any dress and open or closed toe shoes or boots.   They are also a great way to wear that summer dress in the winter.  These tights are opaque and not sheer at all.  I highly recommend to add this to any wardrobe, especially with the Spanx support at the top.  At a great price you have to try them to believe me!
