In Love With This Leather

Keeping up with the fast changing trends can really be a challenge for your wallet these days.  I mean who wants to spend money on MC Hammer pants and shoulder padded jackets?  Those went out of style for a reason people, and will go back out of style just as fast.

One new trend that is hard to find a great piece for is leather.  Trying to look like a million bucks without driving a Harley or spending $600 has proven to be a challenge in my search for the perfect leather jacket.  Pleather looks too fake and a hooded jacket, to me, is less than fashion forward.  I almost gave up my search until I stumbled upon the perfect leather motorcycle jacket on the 80′s Purple website.

Priced at a cool $75, this is an affordable jacket that is tabloid worthy.  It also varies with taste, but I love that it is not black but more of a gray, that way it matches all my clothes in my closet.

 

 

Found: cute dresses with low pricetags

I recently stumbled upon this website, and found many cute clothes that look expensive but are super affordable.  To help you paint the picture, ASOS reminds me of a nicer and a little more expensive Forever 21.  I especially love their dresses and their outlet section of the site.   A great feature that most of the clothes have are actual runway video of the outfit.  This helped me to see how the outfit moved in real life.

Word to the wise while shopping, make sure to change the currency to match what you would be paying with.  Also, ASOS uses European sizes, so you would have to convert.  Here are currently two of my favorites, but take a look at it yourself!
